F2’s Championship Collection since 2016

“Hindi pwedeng lahat p-pwersahin natin. Pag dumating yung bola sa itaas gusto natin lahat ng palo natin pang 3 points, e wala namang 3 points sa volleyball kaya kailangan nating tiyagain isa-isa.”

“:Inagawan ka diba? Ngayon mo ipakita yung galit mo.”

“:Pag alam mong hindi sa’yo, bitawan mo na.”

“Ang kailangan lang natin ay one good dig, one good pass, one good play.”

;The Finals is a race to 3 game, the team who’ll win 2 times will be held as the champions. F2 won the Game 1, so winning the Game 2 of the finals is a Big thing for them. Usually, F2’s rival and the team competing for the championship in different conference is the Petron Blaze spikers which we can also see that they finished the elimination round making their team on top. But eventually they have fallen on the Semi-finals game inspite of having a twice-to-beat advantage against Cignal HD Spikers.

F2 Logistics Cargo Movers had doubled their celebration as their heroine Kalei Mau was awarded as the league’s Most Valuable Player. Kalei is a half filipino and half american, she’s not originally from the F2 team, she was from cocolife’s team on PSL All-Filipino 2018.

“How potent ICT really is.”

ICT in our everyday lives

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) deals with the use of different communication technologies such us mobie phones, telephone , internet etc.Use to locate, save, send and edit information.

As a student with a limited background on ICT, I used to do things on a one by one process not knowing the process on how to do it properly. It really sucks to think of the time I wasted on the things that I can possibly finish within a short period of time.

The first week of learning it, we’ve known what traditional ICT looks like and how it evolved into what it is right now. It entails Web 1.0, Dynamic web or Web 2.0 and the Semantic Web or Web 3.0.

There are this tools from Microsoft office and knowing its full potential gave me chills on how veritably prominent it is.

We used this on making presentation, computing grades, for invitations and even on making info-graphics.

We’ve also encountered some techniques/principles of graphics and Layout involving Balance, emphasis, variety, proportion, pattern repetition & rhythm, and movement.

But wait, there’s more! They also taught us netiquettes in the world of technologies and some tips in the social media field. Where we should be careful on, what we should avoid, and to limit ourselves from trusting social media sites/app with our personal lives.

One of our requirements on our ‘Empowerment Technologies’ subject is making a group campaign on making a solution on the problems we think that this city is still facing. It’s not the kind of solution that we stand tall and be tough to solve it for ourselves but by making it solved using Social Media.

A group campaign that might help to reduce the cases of traffic and accidents, named “WHITE LINES FOR GUIDELINES“.

Making a facebook page and spreading it won’t stop us from this campaign, we also used websites that will help this kind of campaign to reach higher admirals who have political powers on solving it. The website we used is the wordpress.com .

There are this nationwide revolution that happened years ago, starting from Edsa 1, Edsa Dos, Million People march and Yolanda People Finder. ICT plays a big part on those cause those includes spreading news and informations, settling meet-ups with the use of phones via text messages or calls, and broadcasting what happened though radios and television. In 2013 google is used to help the victims of the super typhoon Yolanda here in the Philippines.

It allows people to create news, spread information, persuade others and other useful things.
Change.org is a petition website which allows us to share our thoughts and to get more people to agree with us.

With a short period of time and learning things about ICT, made my innocent self to know something on what’s happening in our world today. But there are also things we can’t actually do now cause we are here in the place where technologies have overtaken the planet known EARTH. So use it carefully and wisely.

Pedestrian Lanes: Pretension and Companion

“White Lines for Guidelines”

Pedestrian Crossing refers to a point on a road that facilitates pedestrians in the crossing of the road. Pedestrian crossing is also known as crosswalk. Generally, pedestrian crossings are found at intersection or near a traffic signal.

Pedestrian lanes are the lines that connect 2 opposite sides of the road. Pedestrian lanes serve as guidelines for the people who’ll walk across the road. They also stated that all persons driving any motorized vehicle must stop before traversing any pedestrian lane with at least one person already crossing. Drivers of motor vehicles are prohibited to traverse any pedestrian lane if there is at least one person already trying to cross the street on the lane. Pedestrian Crossing refers to a point on a road that facilitates pedestrians in the crossing of the road. Pedestrian crossing is also known as crosswalk. Generally, pedestrian crossings are found at intersection or near a traffic signal.

CONCERNED LAW (Philippines)

Republic Act No. 4136 or the “Land Transportation and Traffic Code” states that “the driver of any vehicle upon a highway within a business or residential district shall yield the right of way to a pedestrian crossing such highway within a crosswalk, except at intersections where the movement of traffic is being regulated by a peace officer or by traffic signal.”

It states that motorists should give way, on the given circumstance, to a pedestrian crossing (ped xing) on the pedestrian lane or crosswalk. As such, motorists should make a complete stop until the pedestrian crosses safely. RA 4136 also states that “every pedestrian crossing a highway within a business or residential district, at any point other than a crosswalk shall yield the right of way to vehicles upon the highway.” In other words, the pedestrian’s priority is non existent if he/she is not using the proper crosswalk.

Some Ordinance about Pedestrian Crossing:

“Section 2 of the ordinance requires that all persons driving any motorized vehicle must stop before traversing any pedestrian lane with at least one person already crossing. Drivers of motor vehicles are prohibited to traverse any pedestrian lane if there is at least one person already trying to cross the street on the lane.”

“Section 3 of the ordinance provides that if a pedestrian lane is located where there are traffic lights, no pedestrian is allowed to cross when the green light for vehicles is lit in the lane. If a traffic enforcer is manning the street, a pedestrian may only proceed to cross if allowed by the enforcer. The driver’s license of violator of the ordinance will be confiscated and will not be returned until payment of fine.”

“A BLOT OUT PEDESTRIAN LANE”

THE GOAL OF OUR GROUP IS TO FRAME THE VISIBILITY OF ALL THE PEDESTRIAN LANES HERE IN CABANATUAN (NUEVA ECIJA, PHILIPPINES). This is to make sure that there’s no “wipe out” white lines in every lanes, and with this kind of action the accidents occuring in our beloved city might be lessen.

Common accidents on pedestrian lanes;

*As you can see in the Figure #2, the white lines of the lane are almost wiped out which then conclude the truck that might not stop in an instant. Also those accidents show the innocence of some people about the rules/laws about pedestrian lanes.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
